DAR ES SALAAM: Yas Tanzania has stepped up as one of the key sponsors of Ndondo Cup 2025, signaling a new era where sports and technology intersect to drive positive social change.

This groundbreaking partnership aims to empower youth by blending the excitement of football with cutting-edge technological opportunities.

The Director of Yas for the Southern Dar es Salaam Zone, Mr Robert Kasulwa, said this during the event announcing Yas as one of the sponsors of the Ndondo Cup 2025 tournament.

“Yas and Mixx are proud to be part of this historic tournament that brings together youth teams from various regions of the country,” he said.

Together, they are paving the way for a future where sports become a catalyst for innovation, growth and lasting impact on Tanzania’s youth.

“As the Ndondo Cup gears up for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, Yas’s support will not only elevate the tournament but also create avenues for young people to develop valuable skills in tech, leadership, and community engagement,” he stated.

Ndondo Cup has earned respect not only for its fierce football competition but also for its significant contribution to discovering young talent and elevating them to high levels nationally and internationally.

“Through this sponsorship, we reaffirm our long-term commitment to developing sports, uncovering new talent, and changing the mindset and attitudes of Tanzanian youth to start from where they are, as our ‘Anzia Ulipo’ campaign slogan emphasizes,” he noted.

Ndondo Cup is not just about football it’s about the well-being of our communities. It touches on health, education, employment, and the dreams of Tanzanian youth.

That’s why Yas is committed to collaborating with various institutions to ensure this tournament becomes a platform for learning and social development.

Together, Yas and Ndondo Cup stand by the belief that alongside sports, young people must also be educated, especially on matters of health and social well-being, because we believe that “every youth has potential, every talent has meaning, and every step even a small one is the beginning of a great journey.”

“I wish all the players and participating teams the very best, and I remind you that this is a real opportunity to achieve your dreams. We expect to see great competition and very high levels of performance from all of you,” he said.

He thanked the organizers of this tournament, especially the coordinator Mr Shaffih Dauda and the entire team at Clouds Media, for their bold vision for the youth of Tanzania.

“We thank you for trusting us and involving us in this journey,” he noted.

He added, “On behalf of Yas and Mixx, I assure all participants and fans that we will make this Ndondo Cup season a unique one digital, impactful and filled with real opportunities for thousands of youth across the country.”

It’s is a great step for another telecom company to step in as foot ball sponsor in our country.
I wish in the coming days to see them in Tanzania Premier league teams.
