[Archival Sense]

Voters have turned out in large numbers for the repeat LC1 election in Lugeye Cell, Kakiri Town Council, Wakiso District, as Electoral Commission officials begin verifying names in the voters’ register.

The repeat poll follows a dispute over the July LC1 election, in which NUP’s Francis Kasirye was declared the winner. His victory was challenged by NRM’s Ibrahim Musisi.
