A group of young men claiming responsibility for assaulting random individuals is demanding that dentists and orthodontists who treat the resulting injuries pay them a "cut" for the business referred to their clinics.

The group has apparently turned street violence into a revenue scheme, assaulting strangers and then expecting dental clinics to pay them for the "referrals." This isn't an isolated case of thuggery it's organized and it should alarm anyone who values public safety.

Victims aren't targeted for any personal reason; they're targeted because they're convenient. That means anyone a neighbor, a student, a parent walking home could be next.

Is Uganda Police aware of this group.
