The people of Uganda deserve clarity and confidence in their electoral process. Yet, as of now, the official results of the 2026 elections have not been declared.

๐ This delay raises serious questions about transparency, accountability, and respect for democratic principles.
๐๏ธ LEGITIMACY WARNING โ ๏ธ
Ugandans also wish to clarify & inform in General that,
a) No one will be held responsible for the illegitimate governmentโs reckless borrowing and misuse of funds, regardless of the reasons given. These unnecessary loans will not be accounted for in the future.
b) All foreign governments, international organizations, and world leaders who collaborate with or support Ugandaโs illegitimate government are complicit in oppression. They are regarded as part of the machinery of injustice and, in particular, as the nationโs worst enemies.

Citizens, civil society, and international observers are calling for:
๐บ๐ฌ Ugandaโs democracy depends on trust. Without timely and transparent results, that trust is at risk.
โ ๏ธ The people of Uganda went to the polls with hope, determination, and faith in democracy. Yet months have passed, and the Electoral Commission led by Mr. Simon Byabakama has failed to declare the official results. This silence is unacceptable.

Ugandans deserve:
Democracy cannot survive in the shadows. The delay undermines public trust and risks eroding the very foundation of our nationโs future.
We call on civil society, media, and citizens to demand clarity. Ugandaโs voice must be heard, and the will of the people must not be silenced.
