The last speech of Mu'ummar Qaddafi

The last speech of Mu'ummar Qaddafi

Cool down chap, Gadafi did lots good things to his people, during his reign the populace of Libya was living in abundancy of almost every materials available on earth. That is what I mean, forget about democracy, what good is democracy doing Libya now?
Gadaffi managed because he was wealthy. Not because he wanted to do but because he wanted to rule.
Gadaffi has all the opportunities to transform the tiniest population of the Libyans into a new Qatar or Brunei Island. Gadafi created himself a God. He envisioned and dictated the life of every Libyans with new form of democracy..He never allowed the Libyans to decide for themselves. For instance each Libyan'houses were look alike.Because Gadafi built them using the same map to each individuals through out the entire country. But Because he was fanatic selfish, he ended squandering the Libyan'wealthy to terrorist activities to expand his empire. He wanted to rule over whole Africa. He managed to penetrate his agencies in many African countries including Tanzania, Uganda: With one Vision in his mind: Africa become an Islamic region and he is the Africa leader. Followed the best course he bribed AU' leaders, but all of a sudden...

Their is an old saying: "The great thing starts inside". The thing stated to boomerang back. The Libyans stroked their mighty Dictator. European nations intervened to stop Gadaffi from retaining back his territory:Because the Libyan alone were not capable to overthrown Gaddafi.

Democracy is not about feeding Human being like feeding livestocks inside the pen: i may have 3basic needs: food, clothes and shelter, but the Hierarchy Needs tells me that: human needs arised after the previously needs being satisfied.I relation to Gadafi who made the needs of the Libyans dormant.

Of all Gadaffi offered to the Libyans; Is a "death promise" for anyone who appeared to questioned his governance. He has all the power to silence the truth. We are just foreigners in front of the Libyans'eyes: The Libyan and all the Military army knew Gadaffi more than how much we think we are. And yet the Libyans choose to dump him.

you are one terribly misinformed person! what good is democracy to libya now? clearly gadaffi had libya on the right track. it was the only african country with no external debt, it had one of the largest currency reserves in Africa, its economy was growing fast and the people enjoyed excellent services (health and education)......i'd rather live in such a dictatorial countru than in a failing 'democratic' state. In fact i have had enough of this democracy stuff. no wonder the ancient Greeks used to regard it as a form of anarchy! we cant all be the same you know....there's beauty in diversity. if u r a democratic country then good for you. let others be monarchies or peaceful dictatorships or one party states!
Whether you think he's good leader or not. .Do not forget his moves ended backfired. An old "Great thing starts from inside". His army, his Citizens-the Libyans fight him to death.
Human beings are not livestocks that you can feeds inside the pen and give water to quench their thirsty all the time: i may have 3basic needs: food, clothes and shelter but "the Hierarchy needs" reminds me: Once the one needs satisfied the new needs emerged. The process is dynamic. The citizens, the army, they both fight Gadaffi to the dire needs of the Libyans. They may not achieved some services but at least those who were imprisoned by Gadaffi would be free.

Since 50s, Tanzania is fighting against 3 enemies: Ignorance, poverty and diseases but once we done with these, another needs would emerged. USA and European are working to find life in the Mars: But this came only after they done with poverty, food, diseases.

VAsco Da Gama, I am afraid you are a victim of a 'selective narration' The people you want us to believe were the citizens of Libya were actually mercenaries organized and egged on by various Western intelligences to stir up trouble in Libya. The same thing could happen in Tanzania where there are many reasons for 'uprising'. In fact, similarly, you can say that even to USA itself. There is no one country in the world where100% of the people are content. At best 30% could be. So stop marketing a clearly Western-induced revolt as people's revolution. There are more reasons for a revolution is Saudi Arabia than there were in Libya. Ask yourself, why it does not occur in Saudi Arabia?

Mkuu inaelekea haujui mambo yanayotokea duniani..

Vasco da Gama,
Like i said earlier. We are just foreigners in front of the Libyans. Libya has small numbers of population. The Libyans knew Gaddafi more than us: Not only that; The army which partly betrayed him, knew Gaddaffi more than all the ordinary Libyans and even far more than us. And yet they all turned their back on him.
.
For many years the Libyans were affected with western suctions. Ghaddafi decided to give in with the western countries. In fact we didn't bother to why Ghaddafi decided to give in so easily especially to the westerners: his main enemies. Gaddaffi accepted to be responsible for the death of passengers in the plane bombed🙁Locarbie-Spain) in 1988 and he even paid tributes to the family of victims and surrendered the responsible terrorists to trial.

It is also true that his decisions were not just coming without critical thinking and advice from his senior officers: then we should be dumb enough if we didn't struggle to doubt on what was in his mind: How could he decided to give in with the westerners so easily?
Why was he embarrassed himself by accepting all the allegations of committing terrorism and plans to build Weapons of Mass Destructions (WMD)?What forces behind?

Then.. How the effects of the decision in relation to the Libyans?

The coin has two sides: Probably the situation of the Libyans in times of confrontations with the US might put blames to all westerners. The Libyans might be fooled enough to believe their hero (gaddafi)was clean and westerners were just trying to put dirty on him. In turn, the act of Qaddafi repented to the westerners; i suspect the matters were received too odd to his citizens whereby they Libyans began to think on the credibility of their mighty dictator and government in general, including all the suffering they bore to support their dictator. They are fool to think western were bad to them.. The people at least at the very first time they found two faces in their lovely dictator and started to doubt everything he has done to them..

Just like we cannot measure the pressure of North Koreans and Cubans toward their governments at current situation. We were also unable to measure the pressure Gadaffi encountered from his citizens at large. When we saw the citizen's strike, we always have simple answer at hand: saying CIA: MOSAD at work etc.

One thing that i know if you have people ‘hearts on your side, you can do evil and no one can stop you. Gadaffi of 1960s has almost lost all the hearts he earned on the way toward 2000s. His image was gradually changing in the coming of new generations. All the matters that brought him into power were no longer valid. He may be too old to be creative and thinks in advance on what new generation needs.

The second thing i know when your time is up, people wouldn't give a damn about you: whether your monster or God they will take you down. That's is what happened to the Libyan ‘dictator Muhammar gaddafi. The people fed up long ago and once Gaddafi'son announced to be a successor of Libya. He upsets all the situation. Gaddafi wasn't just a leader but a Dictator. Nobody likes dictator. No body....

You are partly right. My contention is that the reasons you cite as 'the' catalysts' are actually but a small insignificant part of the raison d'etre. The main reason is the west's 'regime change' plot against Gaddafi. As I said, few governments in the world would survive concerted efforts by the west to topple them even if they were popular. That's what we saw in Congo of Lumumba, Burkina Faso of Sankara, Chile of Allende and what's gong on now in Syria. My problem with your hypothesis is that you do not factor in the big role played by foreign plotters, imperialists and saboteurs.
The evidence that Gaddafi was popular is that until now those 'revolutionaries' have not succeeded to pacify Libya. I doubt that would have been the case had it been a people's revolution.
