2007/8 PEV was CHILD PLAY. I dread 2017!

Kenyans react with horror, every time Uganda's chief opposition leader Kizza Besigye is harassed and humiliated by the state security machinery. "This is WRONG! Museveni is a Dictator!.. Ugandans are fools! How can they accept such?, Hypocritical Kenyans react.

Yet back home, harassing and intimidating our 'Besigyes' is not really a bad thing. The other side of the Kenyan politics is gleefully sharing on social media the photos of a teary Raila and Weta with relish! Yet all they want is to save Kenya from a 2007 re-enactment

When we went to the elections in 2007, we had lost faith in all institutions. When the results were announced, Kenya went up in smoke because there was no credible institution in the country to assure us of fairness. Amidst the spiraling blood letting and chaos, we all gladly accepted the non Kenyan solution in Kofi Anaan and his team of eminent African leaders.

In 2013, we went to the elections with no faith in IEBC and other key institutions, We had faith though in Mutunga;s led Supreme court, We therefore saved ourselves from another chaos because we trusted and readily accepted Supreme Court's verdict.
2017, we go to elections with no faith in all institutions again. A recipe for disaster! Because the losing side WONT accept the verdict of either the IEBC or the Supreme court. We are going downhill again.

We have been warned that the car has no breaks. But because of our hatred for each other, we don't mind perishing together to teach each other a lesson!
