Dear Friend,

Re: The 4th African Ambassadors Interactive Forum with the Global African Diaspora and the African Investment Forum

Ambassador Wesley Johnson, Liberian Ambassador to the Court of St. James United Kingdom and Councillor Marianne Alapini, Goodwill African Ambassador of INGO Third Sector Resource UK, personally invites you to the fourth African Ambassadors Interactive Forum with the African Diaspora and the African Investment Showcase. The forum is being organised by INGO in collaboration with Diaspora and International development agencies which includes:

Africarecruit, Ben Television, ECOWAS Commission, Liberian Embassy in the UK, NEPAD Business Group, World Bank Group-IMF Africa Society, Africa Business Roundtable, African Development Forum, United Nations Office for International Partnerships, Christian Aid, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Book Aid International among others.

The forum will take place at the Kensington Town Hall, London, from 10am to 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday, the 28th – 29th of November 2007. The event will provide a forum to meet with senior delegates, stakeholders and financiers who will be available to deliberate on the possibilities of building business linkages, partnership building and attracting International Capital investment to Africa. The event is also aimed at bringing together African Ambassadors to the Court of St. James and the Africa Diaspora, to explore ways by which a reasonable framework and level of cooperation and collaborative network can be established. It is essential to bring new investment to the Continent using the sustainable resource of the African Diaspora Community.

Other attendees will include; Immediate past Secretary General of United Nations Kofi Annan, Dr Salim Ahmed Salim, Former Prime Minister of Tanzania, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Managing Director, World Bank Group, The Director General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Prof. Ndi Okereke Onyiuke, The Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone, Dr David Rogers, Phuthuma Nhleko, Group Chief Executive Officer, MTN South Africa among others.

Whilst we have addressed this invitation to you personally, we very much hope that you will also consider extending it to others in your organisation or network who are directly involved in making investment recommendations – those investment analysts and managers who have the greatest need to monitor developments in Africa.

A complete programme of this event will be sent to you as soon as they are finalised. In the meantime, it would help us if you could register your interest in participating.

If you would like to attend, please respond to either of these email addresses: info@ingo.org.uk, ingounitedkingdom@yahoo.co.uk, or Telephone no: +44(0) 208 801 0493, Fax: +44(0) 208 801 7774.
