I may seem to be crook (troll) from your views but honestly, from the conceptual eye of the thread, you seem to be beating about the bush. It is, unless you assure me and the rest interested JF members that, the technicalities know how have been abused by tactical obsessions / diversities by the government, that I will concur with your argument over the shortfalls or discrepancies of the amendments thereby set to protect our national resources! Otherwise, let it go that, the debate be put on hold until when the results of what is happening, will come out! You're just trolling on JF! What are the causes-and-effects of those amendments?
What are the major means of protection stated in MINING ACT?
Tanzania is surrounded by many countries which are rich in gold bearings. So, it is not strange to have manufacturing industries in our country (if you think we don't have adequate raw materials) and that makes me expect much positive results (and not gambling as you think, my dear engineer). You make it sound like you are the victim of this thread. I'm very sorry!.
Just for the sake of accuracy, not all mineral resources are easily extractable and able to be commercialized in Tanzania [this is scientifically proved]. For instance, Zambia's major mineral and main source of income is from copper. This is easily extractable and commercially very lucrative [practically every mega industry requires it] and our new mining laws would fit into this because of its singularity.
While Tanzania's mineral resources are diversfied, which means you cannot just specialize in one type of Gold bearing ores [ Buzwagi & Bulyanhulu gold mines] to design new mining bills which lead to mining policy that covers the whole mining sector. This is a big mistake we have ever had in mining history!
There is also an issue of how much actual money they [investors] escaping from transporting those copper concentrates. You have to take a note that, it's not as high as you might think in terms of grade and revenues.
So how can you demand mining companies to built industries instead of transporting abroad those raw materials to the manufacturing industries?.
This is not a debate! Just showing you, it's mentally unhealthy to judge the situation like you're in any kind of place of expertise to speak wisdom on it. We don't entertain gambling in minerals engineering!
Mr. Engineer, mark you, we are not talking about formulas or engineering processes, but rather, policies and laws that will govern those formulas and engineering processes in rendering or yielding prosperity to our nation from natural resources (minerals for that matter).Do you understand what you have written?
Not only a null and void, but it's political oriented to cover the interest of politicians. You have to experience it in first hand and not through the mind of politicians whose experience in the mining consists of propaganda through vicariously in the third person.
It is not that I was relieved off your silence nor should this thread be shared (dominated by) between us only. And this is why sometimes I question myself of the whereabouts of people like Zitto Junior, Fastum, Mahweso, Xaracter, Msuvendi, Cicero, Rutashubanyuma, Red Scorpion, Bongaizaji, just to mention few.Sorry for the late reply though sometimes it's better to ask if you don't understand anything particularly in a field which involves science and technology like mining industry. For sure both policies, laws and regulations are delivered from related formulas and calculations.
In today's globally competitive economy where mining companies may be examining properties located on different continents, a country's policy economy has taken on increased importance on attracting and winning investment.
So what are the attractive index of a country like Japan compared to Tanzania, where copper concentrates are being transported for further refineries?. Actually Japan is the preferable destination for copper concentrates due to availability of electronics and technological companies.
Have you pass through the MINING ACT of 2010 for the case of associated minerals?
Thanks for the entertaining gesture to those personalities.Don't make me lough atii!! It's better to ask for processionals like Professor Kumar, Professor Ntalikwa, Professor Muhongo, PhD Olga Ibragimova, CEng Wally Channon, Eng Rweyemamu, Eng Paul Masanja and others like them to join JamiiForums and share their valuable thoughts and ideas.
I'm sorry to say, we don't entertain gambling in mining industry.
When considering both policy and mineral potential in the investment attractiveness; Currently, Tanzania is the least attractive jurisdiction in the world.
Is it not comprehensive?Do you understand what you have written?.
Well and good Engineer! Though so, there is a lot of room for me to learn. You are welcome to do the tuition. It's non comprehensive, loads of ignorance, without much of even a single clue about virtually a thing on mining industry.
I have no "engineering know-how'' to prove to him that he is wrong. That being the case, you are the right person who can show him the shortfalls which need rehabilitation (not the stepping down).Tuition isn't important. Go and tell your boss that he's destroying our beautiful country by his own hands, so he has to step down immediately!.
Then, wait until his end in office, 2025 or after his retirement from his extended period from 2025!No smart people will work with him, I said hakuna!!
Then, wait until his end in office, 2025 or after his retirement from his extended period from 2025!No smart people will work with him, I said hakuna!!
Then, why did you want me to tell him to step down immediately? Were you joking?Waiting for what? Ain't looking for a political position!.
Bwahahahaha, look at all this rhetoric. I remember you calling me a Pseudo Intellectual, when i criticized Baba Magufuli for his policies. But now that you have realized, our country is doomed i think more will follow (Very Good, Very Good)......Waswahili husema "Dawa inaingia taratibu"Tuition isn't important. Go and tell your boss that he's destroying our beautiful country by his own hands, so he has to step down immediately!.
Unbelievable,No smart people will work with him, I said hakuna!!
I think he is put in power by people who also visualize national benefits. Or you think they don't bother about national benefits? My intention doesn't rely on self benefits but national interests.
Rafiki, I think you are wrong thinking that our country is doomed. By the way, from which angle is it doomed?Bwahahahaha, look at all this rhetoric. I remember you calling me a Pseudo Intellectual, when i criticized Baba Magufuli for his policies. But now that you have realized, our country is doomed i think more will follow (Very Good, Very Good)......Waswahili husema "Dawa inaingia taratibu"
And what should be the substitution? Mind you, History, even if not written in books, it remains in heart! Finally I realized he's not fit for that position. All of his ideas should be erased from the history book of Tanzania.
Doomed at every potential periphery:Rafiki, I think you are wrong thinking that our country is doomed. By the way, from which angle is it doomed?
The only way Tanzanians can learn is through the hard way. Finally I realized he's not fit for that position. All of his ideas should be erased from the history book of Tanzania.
Not until 2025 and probably more (if Tanzanians can side with me to extend his terms of service to the infinity)! He should be banned from the state house and placed somewhere in his born village!.
