Hapa naona mchezo wa kulambana mk#nd# yani Tanzania kuilamba Kenya na South Africa kulambwa na Kenya so kwa maoni yangu Tanzania wamekuwa bottom feeders. :D
 
TZ inatekeleza protokali ya EAC common market kivitendo, kama bidhaa inapatikana within the community na inakidhi viwango then inapewa kipaumbele cha procurement. Cha kushangaza wa KE hawaoni hilo wanakwenda SA kununua mabasi ya hovyo ili kupata kitu kidogo...
 
Cha juu ni kawaida kwenye nchi hizi hata ukifanya assembling nyumbani, nimekua kwenye consultancy kwenye miradi ya hizi serikali za EAC na huwa hamna jinsi ya kukwepa cha juu. Kwanza makampuni ya kutoka nje ndio huwa vigumu kutoa hiyo 10%, lakini ya ndani hukimbilia kutoa hata kama hawajaombwa.

Hata hivyo nimesikitika sana kuona viongozi wetu wanaofikiria kwa kutumia ubongo ulioganda, wanaagiza mabasi SA, yaani big four tutafanikisha vipi kama tutaendeshwa kwa pumba.

Even if we we import from SA, we should have atleast imported them in parts so that we can assemble them locally, do the paint work...and used localy made tires...atleast it will keep some few folks gainfully employed... And keep some of that money circulating within the economy.

But anyway, on the flip side, its good to see Africans importing manufactured goods from each other rather than enriching China or EU...

So your problem is those busses to be painted and using SA tires are what makes you loosing bigger chop.?

Mabasi yote yanayotengenezwa East Africa hayafanyiwi galvanisation, ukitaka kujua hilo angalia magari ya magereza. Kama yalivyo nakutu magari ya magereza yale mabus ndivyo yatakavyo kuwa mabus hayo ya BRT yatakayotengenezwa Kenya
 
no no no it is very wrong for Kenya to buy from SA....we can assemble our own buses here at home even if we were to import spare parts...I'd rather we give Isuzu Kenya and LSHS that job than export jobs to SA...

kuna kampuni zinazotegeneza bodies tayari...so cha ku import ni engine peke yake...
