When we talk about powervu, we are talking about a technique used in encrypting certain channels. It is a CAS like dstv channels, canalplus channels, beinsports channels. Just like dstv channels is encrypted by irdeto, canaplus viacess and so on. Similarly, some powerv channels are encypted using powervu keys. Such channels are: mtn worldwide on nss 12 57e cband or Nss 22w cband., We also have other channels in latin America and asia. Channels that are protected by powervu keys are called “Powervu channels”. You can view these channels in three ways
By buying a powervu official decoder(Not available for sale in Africa Market) by Using a full auto roll decoder to open the channels (this is currently the most popular mean in Africa and Asia). Example of such decoders are GSky, Alpha box and so on. those some require internet key updates.
You can search for and manually input powervu keys for specific powervu channels using some decoders that can only use manual powervu keys.. example of such decoders is strong 4922, qsat q13g. It is worthy of note that some advanced decoder can do full manual powervu and full auto roll function such as Gsky v6. Some are auto roll via internet update as well as manual keys powervu q28g and q26g.so opens all channels Dstv Intelsat 20 at 68.5°E and Canals SES 4 at 22.0°W
