Closing date:​ ​Tuesday, 8th April 2014 at 16:00 hours
Opening date: ​Bids will be opened on Wednesday 9th April 2014 at 10:00 am in the CRS Dar es Salaam conference room, Plot No. 144 Migombani Street Mikocheni. All bidders are encouraged to attend or representatives where necessary must be appointed in writing.
Terms of payment: ​A successful bidder will be required to pay 10% (ten percent cash) non-refundable deposit of the total bid amount on the spot. Full payment of the remaining amount must be made in cash within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of opening bids. Failure to comply with this condition will automatically nullify the sale without notice.
A successful bidder will be required to collect the equipment immediately after full payment has been made and provision of customs clearance certificates.
For vehicles imported duty/tax free; it will be the duty and responsibility of the buyer to follow-up and ensure prompt payment of all relevant duties and taxes (TRA/Customs) as per prevailing laws and regulations of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Sealed bids in plain envelope indicating the respective Registration Number of the vehicle or equipment marked Tender for Purchase of Used Vehicles & Equipment is to be addressed to:
