*_TANZANIA THE SWEET LAND OF BROTHERHOOD THAT MWL, NYERERE FOUGHT FOR :_*
In 1960's and 70's the late Nyerere fought a good battle against poverty , deseases and ignorance. Nyerere wanted Tanzania to become a land of prosperity ; The land that its people rejoice the senses of brotherhood , unity , diginity and freedom . Now is not ....
Tanzania is now termed as a fast moving nation from a democratic state to a dictatorship state in Africa. Currently Tanzania turns from being a corrupt government in the last decade to a police state as well.
Here are evidences.
• Artists in Tanzania are facing great challenges at the moment .Artistic works are sometimes prohibited and burned , refer: Ney wa Mitego and Roma Mkatoliki.
• The government is oppresing tax payers and in fact the large group of business people are absolutely unhappy and they are not free , refer: Yusuf Manji.
• Religious leaders are no more free . Some they have tried to set appointment to see the president but no room yet for them has been found , refer: Bihop Dr Josephat Gwajima.
• Politicians are no longer free ; Following the ongoing presidential decree that stops political rallies , A decree that is contrary to constitution . Some belevies that in one way or another government intervines and influences court decisions , refer: Godblesse Lema and Peter Lijulikali.
• Social media owners and users are in a great risk . Anything unpleasant to rulers done by media becomes unlawful , refer: Clouds Media and Jamii Forums.
• Presentation of facts by mass media are punishable , refer: MwanaHalisi newspaper.
• Justice systems are corrupted beyond repair. Police force in Tanzania are smart enough in plating evidence , refer: Hon Freeman Mbowe
• Public officials are full of fear and job insecurities in the name of what so called "utumbuaji" , refer: Felician Mramba.
• Tanzania is becoming a disappearing hub for its own citizens , refer : Ben wa Saa nane.
• Non government organizations are working under a great pressure , refer: what happened to LHRC.
•The government is turning a blind eye on the day to day shrinking economy , refer: IMF and BoT reports.
•Theere are tremendous increase number of innocent people who are makes criminalized people.
• Unbelievable ! A democratic state like Tanzania dare to ask an angel to fall down from heaven and blocks social media tools like what's up , instagram , face book , twiter and turning of the televised national Assembly something that is unacceptable in the face of promoting good governance , transparence and fighting corruption.
All these makes Tanzania a failed government. A government under the ruling party Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM)............shame to CCM!!!
