Kampala Metropolitan Police have arrested three additional suspects and impounded a motorcycle in an ongoing operation targeting a gang accused of carrying out robberies using motorcycles.
Police said the suspects allegedly target people carrying large sums of money.
The latest operation, conducted on September 28, 2026, led to the arrest of Kawooya Bashir, Kiwo Shamiru and Nuwamanya Derrick, also known as Akiram or Mavako.
The three were reportedly found travelling on a motorcycle, registration number UMA 349NF, which was also impounded.
