Hello guys,my mysql server has refused to start and everytime i try to connect to,i got the msg ''Can't connect to the mysql server'' with the ERROR CODE(10061). What if the problem is maybe,has been stopped by widows firewall?, Ur contribution is highly welcomed

Is your Mysql installed on the same computer you connecting from?

What mysql client are you using to connect?

Sorry for questions but will help to determine the problem

If you have installed it using wampp or xampp then I suggest uninstalling and install dry copy of mysql without using these technologies
