Habarini madaktari wa Jf na wanajamii wote kwa ujumla?
Kuna kitu ambacho nimekuwa nikijiuliza kwa muda mrefu na ninafikiri hapa ninaweza nikapata elimu.
Katika pitapita zangu za mitandanoni, nimekutana na wadada wanaotibu PID kutokana na maneno yao especially kwa wadada ambao hawapati ujauzito kwa urahisi.
Pia wamekuwa wakitumia picha ambazo wanaweka kuonyesha kuwa huo ndio ugonjwa wenyewe. Picha yenyewe ni uchafu au vitu vinavyopatikana katika maumbile ya kike ambayo mara nyingi uwa ni kama maziwa ya mgando.
Pia niliwahi kusoma mahala kwamba hali hiyo si mbaya, ni hali ya kawaida katika maumbile ya kike. Inatokea na kubadilika kutokana na mabadiliko fulani ya mwili.
Sasa swali langu ni je PID hii inayosemekana ni ugonjwa naitofautishaje na mabadiliko hayo ya mwili? Msaada tafadhali.

I want to help but be patient with the language I'm gonna use.

PID stands for Pelvic inflammatory diseases. Actually is a syndrome caused by wide range of microorganisms including protozoa, fungal and bacteria that affecting female reproductive organ.

The infection could transcends from the cervix, uterus up to the fallopian tubes that carries female eggs from the ovaries to be uterus. So any infection in that course account for PID.

This infection could presents with variety of signs and symptoms such lower abdominal pain, per vaginal discharge, Pain during sex, back pain , irregular menses, severe pain during menses and infertility. In pregnant women PID may lead to miscarriage.

So this is the brief explanation of what PID is!! But to answer your last question please take this note

It's normal for women in reproductive age to have changes of the viginal secretions along the monthly circle, (usually is slippery and painless) however, any discharge associated with the above mentioned signs and symptoms should raise your suspicion regarding PID.

The discharge produced in the vigana when you have PID usually is thicker and yellowish like color or whitish and cud like (maziwa mgando) and may having bad smell. The later description is More talling to candidiasis a form of vaginal fungal infection.
