With doubt Mpesa is technologica success story that has transformed the life of millions of unbanked populace. Yet to date Vodafone has kept its code under lock and key thus denying developers bridge/api to extend functionality of Mpesa app for example automated pay procedure for e commerce sites. Will vodafone see the light and release official Mpesa API soon? Any unofficial, tested mpesa API out there?
