There is no way the Catholic Church would allow the use of condoms by its faithful, Auxiliary Bishop Methodius Kilaini of Bukoba diocese has affirmed.

“It’s not easy for the church to make a U-turn on its stance regarding condom use. If it allows the use of condoms that would mean the church is allowing its congregation to behave against the religious teaching to commit sins. We are going to seek clarification from the Vatican on this issue,” Bishop Kilaini told The Citizen in a telephone interview yesterday.
He emphasised that the local clergy of the Catholic Church will not advise believers to use condoms.
Reacting to reports that the head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI, has given a green light to the use of condoms in certain circumstances as a way of protection against HIV, Bishop Kilaini said that the church in Tanzania sticks to its anti-condom campaign.

A Vatican spokesman has clarified that the Pope was not justifying condom use though he said it could in some cases be a first step toward moral behaviour.
The comments of Benedict XVI were recorded in a book, ‘Light of the World: the Church and the Signs of the Times’ which is scheduled for release today.

kama mkeo anatumia vijiti yeye mi nimetumia kondom mpaka nikaambiwa nw ruksa akitokea mwingine heri..so soma nilichoandika vizuri uje tena
