Halafu mna indoor gymnasium ambayo kunachezwa basketball, badminton? Kama mnayo tupe capacity yake. Yetu ina capacity ya 2,500. Kubali hamna yaishe. Kama mnayo weka evidence kama vile mimi nimeweka. Hii sijaitoa kwenye Wikipedia, hii imetoka direct from bodi ya serikali inayosimamia stadia zote Kenya. Mimi nimeweka evidence, wewe weka yako wacha. Usisongeze goal post.

Sasa wewe leta evidence ya capacity ya hio swimming pool yenu. Sitakubali ubadilishe goal post. Ulisema infrastructure yoyote ambayo iko Kenya lazima Iwe Tanzania. Sasa weka evidence au ukubali kushindwa maana sijawahi kukuona ukikubali kushindwa. UR BRT is miles ahead of ours and that is why he did not want to compare our BRT with your BRT.Good plans but most of them r overcharged, the reason their procurement is never open. For instance just like ur SGR, ur express highway is too expensive in comparison to similar projects around the World! I am trying to figure out how much did ur used DMUs cost unfortunately it is had to do a comparison as that deal has few comparison! Will u bring up the French deal for comparison as u mentioned of them doing the same! laughed to see ur NAMATA AG avoiding a comparison of Nairobi BRT to Dar BRT, can u also enlight me more on ur BRT?
I find Kshs 40bln for a 20km Line 3 to be damn expensive! Unless it will have metro trains/trams too running parallel to BRT lane! Sijui huwa mnakosea wapi!UR BRT is miles ahead of ours and that is why he did not want to compare our BRT with your BRT.
We have already started constructing BRT paved road on a pilot basis. The pilot will be a few kilometres long. I don't know the exact number of kilometres though. You can hear them talking about it several times in that interview. It will start from Clayworks (which is in Thika road) and will end in Kenyatta National Hospital (in Upperhill). Construction started one or two months ago. Construction will end in June next year. If you go to Thika road right now, you will see construction going on.
This place was an eyesore and chaotic. Thank God someone has given it the attention it desperately needed. Long overdueThe DMUs an inside look included.

Yes. It is expensive. He gave two reasons for that. You can go again and confirm whether he actually said it. I don't know whether these reasons are reasonable to you or not.I find Kshs 40bln for a 20km Line 3 is too expensive!

But why electric poles on a bus? That's old technology for buses, why not having charging points at start and end of the route just like the way it is being done in Western countries? Power storage in battery electric buses has so much advanced! Did this guys really go around the World on a benchmarking tour?Yes. It is expensive. He gave two reasons for that. You can go again and confirm whether he actually said it. I don't know whether these reasons are reasonable to you or not.
1. He said it is a green field project meaning construction starts from scratch while the current one (the pilot one) is being constructed ontop of an existing road. Was your BRT green-field?
2. He said this line 3 will use electric buses. This means that electric poles have to be installed along the road. I have lived in a city in Europe that used electric buses on their BRT and there are overhead electric wires along the road and then there is a wire coming from the bus and attaching on the overhead electric wires. So the infrastructure could be expensive. Also he said the cost of the buses were already factored in that ballpark figure. He said we will save money longterm because electric buses are cheaper to run longterm. If it happens, we will be one of the first African countries to run an electric BRT bus.
Go back and listen, maybe I got it wrong. What do you think about that explanation?
He said the plan is under review. Wacha itoke tutaona. But why electric poles on a bus? Power storage in battery electric buses has so much advanced! Did this guys really go around the World on a benchmarking tour?
But even if u r building from the scratch i find the cost to be inflated unless u r to have 4 lanes BRT! Get me the specifics, how many flyovers is the BRT line 3 to have n how many lanes will this line 3 have? Muwe at least mnachunguza hii maneno! At $400 mln JPM can build u over 50km of a BRT!
Wacha hio maneno ame-indicate the price will only go up with that pending revision! Labda kama bus stops zenu zitakuwa kama za SGR as though unnecessary for an efficient BRT, but who knows? pretty possible in Kenya! Yaani mnaenda kuchezwa! He said the plan is under review. Wacha itoke tutaona.
I think your question on the international games it has hosted has been well answered by your country people.Mbn ninyi watu ni wajinga hivi, sasa hilo c ni jina tu ukiamua unaweza ita vyovyote but quality ni ile ile, hiyo pool yenu ya jukwaa moja imehost mashindano gani ya kimataifa?
