Muwanga Kivumbi returns to court

Muwanga Kivumbi is appearing today before the Chief Magistrate’s court in Butambala for his second court appearance.

His was arrested on January 22nd and his arrest was in connection with the incidents of political violence in Butambala and charged with terrorism days after his supporters were shot dead by security operatives.

He is alleged to have commanded attacks on Kibibi Police station and the Butambala Electoral Commission tally center.
