Go to your mechanic and tell him/her to check if the iddling speed is between 600 and 900 RPM.
If not, tell the mechanic to adjust the iddling speed to the above range,do not go beyond 1000rpm, the car will consume a lot of fuel and it will be noisy. The speed can adjusted below the steering wheel.
If it does not work, tell the mechanic to do adjust the Iddling Air Control Valve ( IACV), as follows:
1-Start the engine with no load and hold the engine at 3000 rpm for some time, then let it idle. the idle for some time.
2- Turn off the engine and removed the intake duct from the throttle body (Horse pipe)
3-Start the engine and let it idle for some time
4-Place the fingers in the hole of throttle body, to see if the engine engine will stalled out (itazima). If that happen The mechanic should do the following:
1: Bridge the 2 pin blue plug behind glove box (the diagnostic plug)run engine to as closes as possile to 500 rpm on idle (no load) by adjusting the butterfly.
2: Turn off engine and un plug idle control valve
3: With ingnition off remove the 7.5 amp back up fuse for ten seconds
4: Plug idle control valve back in
5: Repace 7.5 amp back up fuse
6: The idle control valve is now reset
Put back everything and start the engine ready to go.
