Although English is not the first language, but to a level of presidency it was below standard. The first president and the third were good in English.The president need to be smart and sharp. With regard to a question concern human trafficking, there was no need of providing a lot of explanation. Anyway he is our president,we can do nothing for that now;but next time we need to elect smart candidates.

Yaani kuomba imekuwa ni second nature kwa huyu jamaa, haoni soni hata mbele za watu. Mimi ninayesoma tu nilikuwa naona haya rais wa nchi anasema hivyo bila hata ya kufunga ukope.
Kwa wazungu kuomba ni jambo private sana (sijui anafahamu hivyo), na kwa kweli si kawaida kwa mzungu kuomba. Ndiyo maana utawakuta wazungu wengi wana familia zinazojiweza sana lakini hawataki hata kuhusiana nao, kwa kuhofia isije ikafahamika ni kwa sababu ya fedha zao.
Kweli kuna umuhimu kwa viongozi wetu kusoma culture za watu wengine. Lakini nadhani hata katika itifaki za kidiplomasia (Diplomatic etiquette) huwezi ukasema unaomba na ukajifaharisha kwa hilo mbele ya watu!

I support you. With all due respect to President Kikwete, he must be one of the most difficult students! And this is because it is not clear what is his policy towards US - TZ relationship. While President Obama has been clear throughout his visit that he prefer now to move from aid to business partnership, Kikwete is still begging for money to build roads and free school books! Poor us!

People ni uncountable noun. Kadhalika peoples ni neno ambalo linahesabika kuwa ni uncountable noun kwa kiingereza, na si plural ya people.

Si sahihi kusema two peoples!

Mkuu heshima mbele.

Naomba nikusahihishe kidogo kuhusu neno hili peoples.

Hili neno ni Plural au plural form kwenye grammer na sio uncountable noun, linamaanisha hivyo ulivosema kwamba ni neno lenye kuonyesha collective sets au kind kumaanisha wingi wa idadi.

Hivyo raisi JK kutumia neno peoples akimaanisha watu wa kutoka mataifa mawili au tofauti na kwa hapo raisi JK alikuwa sahihii.

Ila kwa raisi JK kutumia hili neno ameiga na uigaji huo ni wa makosa kwani neno peoples linatumiwa na mataifa yaliyoshibana kwa kuwa na aina moja ya imani katika mambo fulani ambayo wao wanaita "common values" na "culture".

Sasa labda tuambiwe tunaamini mambo kama , matumizi ya madawa ya kulevya, ndoa za jinsia moja na mambo mengine ambayo hatujawahi kuyashabikia?
