On Thursday 14th May 2020 World Health Organization (WHO), said that it is in touch with Madagascar over its herbal drink Covid Organics also known as the miracle tea.
''We are in touch with the government of Madagascar,'' Matshidiso Moeti, regional director of WHO office in Africa, reported in a media briefing.
WHO's initial response came after Madagascar , President Andry Rajoelina had slammed the global health body for not endorsing the CVO.
However their has been a new TWISTaccording the Tanzania Perspectivon reported on their recent addition.
On the front page its is written" WHO offered $20 million bribe to see COVID 19 medicine poisoned - Madagascar President'"
The COVID-19 Organics made from Artemisia a herbal plant, which allegedy can cure COVID-19 patients within ten days says the President.
He also raised the question that " if it was a European country that had actually discovered this remedy, would there be so much doubt?"
With the remedy being an African product , President of Madagascar believes the only reason the rest of the world has refused to treat Madagascar’s cure for the coronavirus with immediate urgency and respect is because the herbal remedy is of 100% African
The controversy between WHO and Madagascar has spiked ever since President Andry Rajoelina introduced the remedy to the world. However President Andry Rajoelina is still determined to continue the distribution of COVID Organics throughout Africa.
