You know the moment you drive off the show room a car depreciates in value. Well not sports cars. They hold their value and even become more valuable with time. They become classics. This lambo goes for £1.75 million and only 40 cars are to be made. In 20 or more years to come this particular car will probably cost £10 million.
4.uniqueness
Not everyone wants to blend in with the crowd. Others want to stand out to express their individuality. Sports cars give their owners an opportunity to distinguish themselves among the crowd.
5.pure fun

To my opinion part of this top speed is purely for salesmanship.
For marketing,higher speed means strong engine.
I don't think there is any road anywhere in the world where it is legally permitted for cars to drive at that speed.(350km/h-420km/h) more so the tires can't long endure to be pushed at that speed.
Handling becomes an issue at that speed
It is impractical. It takes 5 mins for buggatti Chiron to drain all the fuel in the tank when at top speed
That is why despite those top speeds these cars are electronically limited to certain speeds(200km/h)

Wow thanks ,you finally came up with the answers that i was looking for all this time ,i believe there should be a gentleman agreement between the manufacturer and the authorities that they should put a speed governor that is limited to 200-240kph regardless of the car top speed

Yes mkuu most of these sports cars are computer limited to practical speeds. Though they still release limited editions with those top speeds only to certain individuals. And, am sure u can't drive this car at that speed without the manufacturer's experts near by

Mkuu umechelewa. All sold out. Silishauzwa back in 2015 before the car was not yet a reality, when the company showed an hologram of the car.
