Kenyan Army officer Second Lieutenant Isaac Lenkume has been commissioned after successfully completing the 44-week Regular Commissioning Course at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK, Maurice Makoloo, congratulated Lenkume, praising his performance and conduct during the demanding training.
Makoloo said the young officer had represented Kenya with distinction and “flown the Kenyan flag so high.”
Lenkume’s training covered military skills, leadership, decision-making, fieldcraft and tactical exercises designed to prepare officer cadets for command responsibilities.
His commissioning marks the beginning of his career as a Kenyan Army officer.
