A senior Kenya Kwanza leader has issued a public warning to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, giving him three days to withdraw from active politics and retire peacefully.
The leader claimed that failure to do so would force him to reveal what he described as the main reason behind Gachagua’s fallout with several political figures from the Mt Kenya region.
The remarks add to the growing political tensions within Mt Kenya, where leaders have continued to exchange accusations and defend their positions amid shifting alliances ahead of the 2027 General Election.
While the claims have generated fresh debate in political circles, details of the alleged disagreements have not been publicly disclosed, leaving observers waiting to see whether further revelations will emerge in the coming days.
