[/h] We are seeking a dedicated, self motivated and highly organized Business Improvement Coordinator to join the Administration Team so as to work at Tulawaka to achieve and surpass safety and quality objectives to the reward of both the individual and PML.

Reporting Line: General Manager

Location: Tulawaka Mine Site

Work Schedule: Rotational Status (6 Weeks on / 3 Weeks off)


KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Articulating and reinforcing the vision, strategy and principles associated with the ABG culture and business improvement initiatives
  • Coaching the site leadership in the implementation of ABG business improvement systems and processes
  • Deploy standard business improvement tools and techniques to support improvement initiatives
  • Educating Management and staff improvement teams in the problem solving tools and techniques that will be used to realize these results and supporting the effective deployment of these tools and techniques
  • Coordination of business improvement initiatives and projects ensuring that progress is maintained through application of structured problem solving techniques, regular progress reviews and timely reporting.
  • Integrate business improvement principles into induction and other relevant employee development programmes
  • Ensure effective implementation and management of suggestion systems.
  • Initial project focus, Cost culture awareness, critical spares action plan, mine planning process map and stope utilization mapping.
QUALIFICATIONS

The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:

  • Recognized tertiary qualification
  • Formal qualification in Business Improvement or systems development will be an added advantage.
  • Have a disposition to lead change
  • Demonstrate achievement in a senior management role
  • Ability to think “outside the box” and create an innovative environment
  • Excellent communication, role, model presentation and software/system development skills.
  • Strong business acumen, change management, project management and facilitation skills
