Habari Node Limited, the leading ISP in Arusha with a dynamic cutting edge of information technology dealing in computer systems, ready to use Tanzanian software, networking (LAN, Internet), programming, web design, software repairs, and Internet support, seeks to employ a SYSTEM/NOC ADMINISTRATOR.


Location: Arusha and Moshi –Tanzania
Duties: Responsible for monitoring, investigating, reporting and fixing Habari Node Ltd servers and network namely performing monitoring of the DSL cable and wireless connections, maintenance and server installations as well as support clients on the use of Internet.


Remuneration: Attractive package. Dependant on qualification and experience



Qualifications:

• A university graduate majoring in Computer/Telecommunication Engineering or Information technology.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Experience with Unix/Linux Servers Administration
• Understanding of server concepts - DNS, AD, SMTP, IMAP/POP3, Proxy, and Virtual Machines
• Knowledge in TCP/IP design and configuration
• Cisco knowledge, at least CCNA/CCNP with experience in routing ;BGP,OSPF,VPN,VLAN and Qos
• Knowledge in Security

Added Advantage: - Understanding of Firewalls and Network Access Control - Experience in Network traffic monitoring and Load Balancing - Scripting knowledge in: different shells (esp.
