Msemaji wa Jeshi la Ulinzi la Israel (IDF), Brigedia Jenerali Effie Defrin, amesema katika mkutano na waandishi wa habari kuwa Jeshi la Anga la Israel leo limeishambulia kituo cha nyuklia cha Iran kilichopo karibu na Isfahan.
Isfahan sasa inaungana na Natanz katika orodha ya maeneo ya nyuklia ambayo Israel imethibitisha kuyashambulia. Pia kumekuwepo na taarifa na picha za mashambulizi dhidi ya kituo cha nyuklia cha Fordo.
"Hatutaruhusu Iran kusonga mbele kuelekea kutengeneza bomu la nyuklia. Hatutaruhusu utengenezaji wa makombora yaliyokusudiwa kutudhuru," amesema Brig. Jenerali Defrin.

The Israeli Air Force struck an Iranian nuclear facility near Isfahan earlier today, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin says in a press conference.
Isfahan joins Natanz on the list of nuclear sites Israel has confirmed targeting. There have also been reports and footage of an attack on the Fordo nuclear site.
“We will not allow Iran to advance toward a nuclear [bomb]. We will not allow the development of missiles intended to harm us,” he says
