Tanzania prides itself with various cultural communities living together in harmony. This is a trait which was not achieved overnight. Our founding fathers of this nation worked very hard to inculcate this trait in the hearts of various communities.
Surprisingly, there are individuals who have infiltrated in various international schools (most of them foreigners) who are committed to see to it that our children do not continue living in harmony within themselves and with other nationals from all over the world. They have started to teach our children the sin of racial discrimination at their young age.
Schools are like a workshop where young minds are molded to become responsible and take a given direction during a mature age. If you tell a young mind to understand how different he/she is with the others, that trait will follow him/her for as long as he/she lives.
It is with much disappointment to realize how some international schools allow their staff members to be used in trying to throw out of the window the peace and harmony we have been enjoying all these years.
These staff members within international schools teach our children to understand that they are “Black, White, Brown, Coloured, African, American, Chinese, European, Indian etc”, hence they are different.
What baffles me is how they go to the extent of giving preferential treatments to students/pupils based on racial lines.
My question is; what do they want to achieve with their actions? Who has sent them to poison our innocent children with the sin of racial discrimination? Is the Government aware of this unacceptable behavior?
Any advice on what should be done to stop this nonsense?
