Muamar Gadafi is the only President in Africa who understands the importance of Unity in the continent. Call him whatever names you like but the fact remain solid and no one can change it. No real development can be achieved in Africa without coming together for all African states. And this is what Gadafi has been advocating throughout his life.


If you really like Africa, don’t come with the notion that Colonisers has already separated us or Africa nature rally is separated. I don’t believe such awkward ideas that stop chances to move forward. We must understand that, liberty of America is not a gift from God, but is American that has built it and so is Africa. Dividing the continent by French speaking, English speaking, Arab speaking, Spanish and Portuguese speaking is none sense and must seize.


Africa should move fast if industrial, Agricultural, research and so on, could be done by grouping five or more countries in every area and financing it. Individual countries have no enough capital to sponsor such huge projects. This is the only way to get rid of World Poverty Championship that we have been holding for centuries. We are the world leading Aid recipient in the World, despite having enormous huge reserve of natural resources’.


can understand, Tanzanian president, Jakaya Kikwete when he was puzzled why Tanzania is poor, and maybe he don’t know either why Africa is poor. One can think is a simple question, but I like Him don’t believe so. If we think, we have answers to these questions then we could have answers toward solving the problem. Until there is no solution to the basic problem, is hardly to think that we have the solution to the problem.


I believe that solution to our poverty is unity if we like it or not. Is not a matter of choice, but we must do it now or never. If we don’t listen to Gadafi Today, then tomorrow will be too late. Tomorrow never come!

Unapoints nzuri sana kichwani mwako...Hata mimi ningaliulizwa leo swali hilo, kweli ningeshindwa kueleza kwa uhakika kuwa Africa imeungana haswa katika nyanja zipi!

Kuna haja ya kuunganisha nchi hizi katika stronger bonds za kuongeza uchumi wa kila member na nyingine zinazoonekana kiukweli, na si kufanya vikao kila siku na kupeana uenyekiti!...huh!
 
Gadafi wants unity because he loves power and would like rule many more people than he currently does. Certainly 1 billion people would give him more clout on the world stage than the couple of millions he currently rules. But make no mistake; anyone who thinks he cares about Africa itself probably needs to have his head checked. He doesn't. He has sponsored dissidents in several African countries. He is disrespectful. He wants to convert all of you to become muslims and no one should take him seriously.

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with Africans uniting as long as that unity benefits Africans and not a small band of the ruling elite. AU for instance is an African talking shop that does not benefit Africans in any way, but can benefit individual African leaders like Al Bashir. I am more in favour of trading blocks like COMESA because many more people stand to benefit through increased trade. Increased trade=increased prosperity.

mkuu, muungano wa africa una manufaa gani? ikiwa hata europe wanashindwa kuungana for over 60 yrs back, will africa manage with these corrupt leaders?

Who told u that Europe failed to unite? They are moving on with the process.
After all, eradicating corruption needs continental and global support. Let us understand that, our problems are reasons that encourage us to unite.

for tanzania to join the east africa community its a matter of our people to decide, we must remember that we are the only country which shares borders with alll other east african countries and asumme if we open the borders alll other ciotizens from the rest ofo african states will forljk to tanzania nad lead to political and social unjustice.

Umoja ni nguvu bwana.

jaribu kuvunja fimbo moja (nadhani utaweza kwa urahisi kabisa) lakini chukua fimbo 30 ziweke pamoja kisha jaribu kuzifunja zote kwa pamoja kama utaweza!

Ilikuwa jambo la maana kuongea juu ya gadafi maanake mwanzilishi wa mada hii alimtaja kama mojawapo ya watu wanaoelewa maana yake waafrika kuungana. Ingawa nakubaliana naye kuwa kuna umuhimu wa kuungana kama sisi waafrika, inafaa tujihadhari wa viongozi ambao lengo lao sio kuendeleza Afrika, bali ni kujitafutia hadhi na mamlaka makuu. Mimi naonelea kutumia gadafi kama mfano wa viongozi ambao wanafaa kuigwa ilikuwa ni makosa, maanake tunajua sasa Ghadafi siye mtu anayeaminika. Juzi alitembelea Bara Uropa na kuwaambia wamlipe kitita kikubwa maana anafanya kazi nzuri sana ya kuwazuia waafrika weusi kuhamia huko wakipitia Libya, na tena akatumia maneno mengine ninaona aibu kuyarudia kwa sababu yanakera sana.

Sioni ubaya wowote mtu kuwa mwislamu, lakini ungekubaliana na mimi vita vya kidini ndivo vimesababisha maafa mengi sana duniani hata kuliko magonjwa yote. Kwa nini mtu atake kusababisha vurumai za kidini Afrika akitazamia kulazimisha kila mtu awe wa dini hili au lingine? Kama umekuwa ukifuatilia matamshi yake ungejua naongea juu ya nini. Kama mtu yuataka kudadilisha dinilake, afanye hivyo kwa hiari yake, sio kwa kulazimishwa (na mtu kulazimishwa si lazima uwekelewe bunduki kwa kichwa, kuna njia tofauti za kulazimsha).

i have nothing against Unity,lakini saying is the only way for maendeleo naona sio kweli,mbona South Africa wameendelea sana na hawana unity na yeyote na hata Zimbabwe kabla ya huyu mwendawazimu wa sasa kuanza siasa zake walikuwa mbali sana...solution nyie waafrica mnahitaji mzungu au smart dikteta mwenye uchungu na nchi yake na kupigwa viboko ili muache wizi,rushwa na uvivu.
 
Njaa imetushinda kuimaliza Afrika tusitegemee muujiza katika masuala ya kuungana. Ubinafsi wa viongozi wetu ndiyo kikwazo kikubwa katika kuiunganisha Afrika.
