Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to the US Congress, calling Israel a "warmongering nation." Rouhani said that the American people are "too smart"to take advice from "an aggressive and occupier regime" which has its own vast arsenal of nuclear weapons, adding that the world is happy at the progress being made in the Iran and P5+1 nuclear negotiations.
The leader of the Islamic republic stressed that negotiation was the only way to settle the longstanding dispute over Iran's nuclear program which has resulted in US mandated sanctions.
Rouhani has said that although Iran is ready to demonstrate further transparency over its nuclear program, it will not agree to any deal which violates its right to nuclear technology.
