Mobile device maker itel has entered into partnership with online retail store, Jumia, to enable customers purchase itel devices, online on Jumia?s Mobile platform every Thursday with discounts of up to 18% OFF.
The partnership, described as a one of many to come, will make the itel brand available nationwide to customers all over Tanzania.
Announcing the collaboration, Vendor manager Raza Bharwani, said: ?itel partnering with Jumia was a match made in heaven as itel is dedicated to providing variety of reliable and trendy communication devices, and the Jumia brand is synonymous with providing high quality authentic tech on its platform. We are proud to announce that with a click on a button, both customers of Jumia customers will have their purchased delivered to their doorstep nationwide.?
The Country Manager for Jumia Tanzania, Jean Philippe, emphasized that Jumia?s partnership with itel was in line with both parties? goals of building a strong brand identity, based on the high quality products and excellent service delivery while continuously increasing value and convenience to customers in Tanzania.
Jumia boasts that its clients have more time in the day to get tasks done, as they have no need to travel to traditional brick and mortar establishments to do their shopping, as they can now make their purchases in the comfort of their offices or homes from the Jumia website or mobile application.
2015 has seen Jumia grow by entering into agreements with well established brands, as local retailers, who have opted to sign on to the online market place and instantly have the ability to deliver their products nationwide.
