Yanayoongelewa kwa hio taarifa ni ripoti ya IMF kama ipatie Kenya $1.5B standby loan ili Kenya ijikinge kutokana na sudden economic shock kama global financial meltdown ama kushindwa kulipa madeni.
Mbali na hivyo GoK haijazulia hio taarifa kuchapishwa, IMF ndo imesema imeipatia GoK hio ripoti wasome Kwanza kabla IMF ichapishe hii itapunguza uhasama baina ya IMF na GoK kwasababu GoK haitakua surprised na maamuzi/matangazo yoyote ya IMF.
