If given the platform and resources, I will be against the destruction of the environment under the guise of development. I will be against all the projects that are said to be strategic for the national interest while destroying the environment, especially the cutting of trees. I will ensure that there is no more demolition of buildings in Dar es Salaam because that is the same as gradually removing the identity and culture of our city. I will advise the government through parliament to bring strict laws to protect the environment.
I would also use the platform to tell local governments to establish special smoking areas in order to stop this habit of smoking everywhere. That causes not only air pollution but also affects one's health.
