In 1949 Barack Obama II's grandfather was convicted of being a Mau Mau in violation of section 64 of the Kenya Penal Code.
He got out of prison in 1951, because he was not as charged in 1949 as being a subject of George VI. His lawyer proved to the court that grandpa Obama was a subject of the Sultan of Zanzibar by 1919. Note the terms of the Zanzibar Nationality Decree when read with the British Nationality Act 1948.
Remember MI-5 provided documentation on Obama's grandpa to the Command and Staff College early on. Read the report that Major Rod Hughes USMC wrote for the Command & Staff College on the 19 convicted in 1949 of early Mau Mau activities. (one of that number being the grandfather of Barack Obama II). If it was not for the fact that Barack Obama I was a subject of the Sultan of Zanzibar through the naturalization of his father in 1919, he could not of got a passport as a British protected person so he could enter the United States, because of his own anti-British activities in Mombasa in 1958.
Bottom line at birth, Barack Obama II was a Subject of the Sultan of Zanzibar. On that August 4, 1961 birth date the flag of the Sultan of Zanzibar flew at full staff over Fort Jesus on Mombasa Island.
