Following a directive from the Executive, particularly the Office of the Prime Minister, communities across Uganda have today taken part in the 2nd National Cleaning Exercise as it is mandatory every last Saturday of the month

Residents joined efforts to clean streets, markets, trading centres and other public spaces, promoting proper waste management and a cleaner environment.

📷: In Kira, Wakiso- Residents didn't turn up massively as expected, it's a few individuals who showed up, cleaned some areas and went back to their gates.

UPDATE: Watch- Kibuye resident takes National Cleaning Day to another level
A resident of Kibuye along Salaama Road in Makindye Division was spotted mopping the tarmac early this morning during the 2nd National Cleaning Exercise.

The lady said sweeping alone was not enough — she had to mop the road as well
