1. The television rights belong to CAF. For every live transmission of a match, the host association shall pay to CAF, the following charges:

1.1 Preliminary matches and 1/16th final matches (one thousand US Dollars) $ 1000 1.2 1/8th final matches (one thousand five hundred US Dollars) $1500

3. If the television rights are fixed in a contract concluded between the National association and another organisation, CAF may demand that instead of the above-mentioned amounts, a reasonable percentage be transferred in favour of CAF.

4. The rights of the group matches, the ½ finals, the final matches will be managed directly by CAF or by the holder of the rights.

5. Failure to abide by these regulations shall be considered as a violation of the financial provisions and shall be punished. After a delay of ninety (90) days following the date of the match, the concerned federation shall be sanctioned by a fine of ten thousand (10,000) dollars U.S.

9. In return, the association fulfilling the above mentioned engagement shall be allowed to transmit live and free of charge the matches played on its territory starting from the group matches. Any National association which can not or does not give the necessary signals towards the satellite will be sanctioned by CAF who reserves the right to exclude the club from the competition. CAF also reserves the right to exclude the club from the sharing of the receipts of the Champions League.

10. The National Associations are required to ensure the compliance with CAF contractual obligations on TV and marketing rights. In case of non-compliance of CAF obligations by the National Association or in case of fraudulent of the TV signal, the team shall be excluded from the competition and will be suspended for the next edition, in addition to any other sanction that may be imposed upon the federation of the concerned team.

11. CAF also reserves the right to exclude the club from the sharing of the receipts of the Champions League.

12. The revenues from advertising and television rights, as well as, the broadcasting will be distributed among the eight clubs qualified in the group matches, taking into account their ranking, as well as, the national federations to whom belong these eight clubs, as per CAF scheme.

4. After deduction of the organisational expenses, the benefits resulting from the selling of the television and publicity rights of the match played in Africa will be distributed as follows:

4.1 75% to the club
4.2 20% to CAF
4.3 5% to the National Association of the club.
