đź“ŤFighting Resumes in Moyale
Clashes erupted again yesterday in Moyale around 8 pm as Oromia forces launched a major offensive to seize the town. Heavy deployments of special forces are reported on both sides, with Somali forces sending reinforcements in a convoy of 17 trucks.
Fighting has expanded to Malab, Chamuk, Bole and Wako Dosa, reaching Arero and Wachile districts. Intense battles that began last night continued through the day in Minwata, Malka, Guba and Selerba.

Tigrayan forces reject reports that Commander Gebre Gebregiorgis was captured, stating he remains on the frontlines and will soon give an interview to Tigray forces media.

Oromos in Somaliland, Puntland and Ethiopia’s Somali Region are reportedly facing targeted attacks and threats after the Moyale clashes. In Borama, more than 150 homes were destroyed, forcing around 5,000 people to flee to the airport.
