Some 17,000 new mosques have been built during Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan's 10 years of leadership, Milliyet reports.

In the same period the amount of public schools has remained at 32,000 while the number of mosques has jumped from 76,000 to 93,000. Turkey's secular opposition has accused Erdogan of having a ''secret plan'' to re-Islamisize the nation.

Erdogan recently announced the construction of a new mega-mosque in Istanbul which will ''be seen from every corner of the Bosphorus'' and will have the tallest minarets in the world. (ANSAmed).

Why do you think the secularists are crying about a "secret plan" and why don't they cry that Erdogan wants to build an "ignorant nation", rather, they cry that the nation will be re-islamasized, that is, will be an Islamic nation. Will it be an "ignorant nation"?

- Can "ignorance" build a nation, any nation?
- If Erdogan is building an "ignorant" Muslim nation, why worrying about a thing (a nation) that, out of the said "ignorance" is going to collapse anyway?
- Why not just make preparations of taking over when this so called "ignorant nation" is going to collapse.

If secularists are worried, it means that those Muslims will be educated, clever and advancing to be able to overtake and lead a nation. Where will they get the education from while all that they build are mosques, and not a single school, college or university, according to this report?

This shows how some of us do not fully understand the role of the mosque to muslims?

Ukijenga shule na zikianza mafanikio basi zinabambikwa kuwa ni za kigaidi au zinashutumiwa kudhaminiwa na mashirika ya kigaidi, hivyo zinafungiwa. Sikiliza yanayotokea Ukerewe hivi sasa.
