Dear Kanyabwoya!

I understand your point of views. However, I defer with you because the shortfalls and disadvantages of EAC are open and one does not need a degree as a prerequisite to understand them.

However, the biggest problem is our leaders as they embrace them with joy. Naturally, we are not violent, I do not see any Tanzanian one day taking a machete and trying to kill any foreigner. Do not forget that, Kenyans or other foreigners can not do anything in Tanzania without being supported by the Tanzanians themselves.

I will give you some examples:
  1. How can a foreigner get a work permit without our migration service?
  2. How can a foreigner sign a shod contract without our representative?
  3. etc

I read somewhere that Tanzanians do not like each other. People prefer to deal with foreigners and show his fellow countryman/woman that is better than him/her. If we liked each other we could not be complaining of why Kenyans take our jobs. We are in our country but still they come and take our jobs at an expense of our fellow Tanzanians.

Let us find some ways of solving our fundamental problems before trying to blame others. And for me is simple let us love each other. Let us be prepared to be criticized then we can move forward.

Try to answer the following questions:
· who is responsible for the protection of our jobs?
· who is responsible for the protection of our EAC interests?
· who is responsible for the protection of our natural resources?
· etc

The simple answer to these questions is YOU AND ME

How? How? This is 2010 use your ballot right to put a leader who will understand your problems.

That's right Mkuu. But r u aware of what these people am responding to say about Tanzanians? I don't like CCM, but it will win, very dissapointing. A danger is that when a common mwananchi is betrayed by both leaders and foreigners, he resorts to what i was saying.

Now look, for him Zain Comp is a measure of IQ. Smatta Zain was just a memory competition. It was just an exam for students who attended the memory class. in a class students are provided with books to read before the memory competition session. Now for short sighted smatta, that is intelligence quotient competition.

Tupo macho na ole wenu sisi tunawakodolea macho tu siku ya siku yaja hapo ndipo mtakapojua Tanzania tupo namna gani, walijaribu akina Amin et al na hawakufua dafu itakuwa nyinyi. Muulizeni Ghadafi. All of you need to take a chill pill. The article raises some issues that it will be foolish to dismiss them, ila jamani seriously mbona mna hasira sana? Thank you for your civility on this matter. Its not easy moderating a forum whereby you have to go through each and every thread and postings to weed out uncivil postings that border on threats and grandstanding.

I call upon all members who fund postings to uncivil to use the 'report post' button so that the mods can do the needful.

Humu ndani kuna some people for some reasons they know themselves tend to become abusive wherever an article arises concerning interests of Tanzania contrary to Kenya's! I never understand if those people behaviour can change others' perception on them! they usually resort into things like Xenophobia, uneducated (as if they themselves are soo educated than anyone in this forum) that leads to arrogance counter-replies! Pls moderator look at those people (esp. Nomasana, Moyo and Smatta ) cause it is too much overhere! nothing constructive can be discussed!
 
I've been going through all these comments on the thread and I am compelled to say that most of these comments come from less-intellect individuals. Well, maybe you people are just enjoying yourselves without necessarily having anything to say concerning the main issue. You guys are my fellow brothers and I think its important I tell you that some of these comments are really awful when its comes to matters of union. Please consider talking to your fellow NIKKAS with respect.

As for the main issue, I have to painfully say that this is the reason why Africa in general is not performing well economically. Just look at the EU and then tell me that there are some members who are benefiting than others. Even the US is comprised of states that work with mutual understanding and you can see the result. The US is the leading economic GIANTS followed by the EU.

In my opinion, Africa is the wealthiest continent when it comes to resources(natural), but the problem is that there has never been cooperation and fellow African is Jealous of the other. I am not trying to be philosophic but if Africa could realize the potential it has and work together, we would definitely beat all other critics.
 
There Has Been A Quite A Few Critisisms About Aec In So Many Areas, Especially For The Residents Of The Republic State Of Tanzania, Thoguht I Should Pick Among Of Those, To Just Hear What You Have To Say Economically,

(1) How Have You Benefited Since The Establishment Of East African Community? Does It Mean Anything To You ?

(2) Do You Really Know What Its In The Treat Establishing The Commuity? And How It Counducts Its Administrative Business?

(3) How Activily, You As An Intended Citizen For The Solely Establishment Purpose Of This Community Are Engaged?

(4) Do You Get A Chance To Be Listened Of Your Concerns ??
 
lets be realistic. yall can call for civillity all you want but as long as most of the topics here are about how evil and arrogant kenyans are vs how nice and "clean" tanzanians are then there will never be peace in this forum.

i for one wont let none of these tanzanians trash talk kenya and go unanswered.

if you want civility then let the topics be rational cuz if they are not then it will always be chaos.
 


Stick to the thread, we decided unanimously to discuss issues not people, if you want to discuss about why Kenyans venture into Tanzania to do business, rob banks, take your employment and marry your women then start a new thread and I will definitely comment on it and give you my reasons and experiences. No need to divert and eventually kill this thread by your rhetoric, you know better than that

We are all cut from the same clothe, the sooner you accept the better for you. Remove that head that you have buried in the sand/ground...usiwe kama mbuni. Nobody is any better than the other.

I am amused and amazed at some of the postings about EAC in here.

For you TZedians who strongly oppose the EAC go tell your MP and stop wasting your time posting it in here coz it does not have an impact at all...people just write, wakishamaliza kuandika wanaenda kulala.

When they wake-up they whine some more about EAC. Nothing is achieved. If you feel so strongly about go and lobby it your bunge and stop chest thumping.
