Nav,
sasa nimekuelewa ulichomaanisha. Tuko pamoja, ingawa mimi binafsi sipendi cc kwa kuwa unapoteza umiliki wa data wa moja kwa moja.
To me cloud computing, ecept for company cloud, is useless
The whole cloud thing is rather immature from an individual's standpoint, the corporate world is mostly already using an infant type of cloud computing in all it's client server systems.
The most promising aspect of cloud computing from the corporate world to me is working from home. I am just imagining cutting down all those horrible Dar commutes, for people whose work can be done solely on the computer and phone of course.
Even in the west where fast speed internet is almost like a birthright and more prevalent than clean tapwater in Africa. All the security issues, ready accessibility, mobility - just to mention a few, would make any serious observer with intent to deploy on a personal level sit this out for now at least.
It's not like the west does not have ISP downtimes, broadband deserts and has that much of coverage for a mobile user.
wanataka kututenga waafrika hata amna kingine hasa, internet still ni problem kwa africa then you bring us G Chrome ambayo inataka intanet 24/7?? watatumia wao na roho zao za uchoyo
