Bayern Munich na Borussia
Dortmund katika Bundesliga:
===
Borussia Dortmund held Bayern
Munich to a bad-tempered 1-1
draw in the Bundesliga on
Saturday ahead of their Champions
League final at Wembley on 25
May. "Whoever thought this would be a friendly game doesn't know
Borussia," Dortmund's chief
executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke,
said. "And they don't know Bayern
Munich either." Kevin Grosskreutz opened the
scoring for Dortmund with an
impressive volley in the 11th
minute. Nuri Sahin's pass found
Jakub Blaszczykowski, who waited
before picking out Grosskreutz's run to the far post. Mario Gomez
equalised for Bayern with a header
from Rafinha's cross in the 23rd
minute. Dortmund had penalty appeals
waved away before that when
Ilkay Gündogan tumbled under
Diego Contento's challenge.
Gündogan went off as a precaution
with a thigh problem shortly afterwards. Dortmund did get a penalty when
Sahin's shot struck Jérôme
Boateng's arm but Manuel Neuer
saved Robert Lewandowski's effort
on the hour. Rafinha was sent off for elbowing
Blaszczykowski in the 64th minute,
two minutes after the Brazilian
earned his first yellow for a foul on
Julian Schieber. The defender had a
heated dispute with the Dortmund coach, Jürgen Klopp, as he made
his way off the pitch, with Bayern's
sporting director, Mattias Sammer,
also getting involved. "We didn't want anyone to suspect
it was a friendly game," Klopp said.
"The referee asked us to shake
hands. It goes on." Klopp made five changes to the
side who lost 2-0 at Real Madrid on
Tuesday, while Jupp Heynckes
changed seven from the team who
crushed Barcelona on Wednesday.
Five Bayern players were booked, including Rafinha. Bayern had
previously received only eight
yellow cards all season in the
league. "It was a very intense
game where nothing was given
away," Heynckes said. Bayern, who wrapped up the title
with six matches to go, maintained
their 20-point lead over Dortmund,
but failed to extend their record
run of 14 successive Bundesliga
wins. "A game against Dortmund,
regardless of where it is, is never a
friendly game. [It's] a duel of eye-
level, 50-50, and it's what we
expect in the Champions League
final," Neuer said. In Spain, Barcelona will have to
wait at least another week to wrap
up the La Liga title after Cristiano
Ronaldo struck twice to lead
second-placed Real Madrid to a 4-3
comeback against Real Valladolid. Had Real failed to win, victory for
Barça against Real Betis at the Nou
Camp on Sunday would have
secured a fourth title in five years
as they would have been 13 points
clear with four games remaining. Valladolid, who have not taken a
point at the Bernabéu in more than
a decade, took a surprise eighth-
minute lead when Oscar González
stole in and beat Diego López with
a low shot. Real were level in the 26th minute when Marc Valiente
deflected an Angel Di María shot
into his own net before Ronaldo
nodded the first of his two headers
six minutes later. Valladolid struck back almost
immediately when Javi Guerra
finished off a swift breakaway in
the 35th minute and Kaká restored
Real's lead four minutes after the
break. Ronaldo looked to have killed off the game 20 minutes
from time when he headed home
from a corner, the Portuguese
forward's 33rd league goal of the
campaign. But there was still time
for the substitute Lluís Sastre to smash home a third for the visitors
to set up a nervous finish.
