Three Switches and Three Bulbs

Three switches outside a windowless room are connected to three light bulbs inside the room. How can you determine which switch is connected to which bulb if you may enter the room only once?

Here I go before entering the room I will put two bulbs on the wait for while to allow them get too hot then I will switch off the second switch and enter the room. From that the one which is on that means is the first switch and that which will still be hot will be the second switch and the cold bulb will be that of the third switch. Am I right???
