Professor Bishop Alfred Olwa of Lango Diocese joined Arsenal from Liverpool after Archbishop Stephen Kazimba Mugalu dressed him in an Arsenal No. 9 jersey on Sunday, September 20.
Bishop Olwa, a strong Liverpool supporter, joined Archbishop Kazimba in the light-hearted football moment during the Archbishop’s farewell tour of Lango Diocese.
The tour was part of Archbishop Kazimba’s final visits to dioceses ahead of his retirement in 2027, after six years leading the Church of Uganda.
