Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, son of Zimbabwe’s late president Robert Mugabe, is facing possible deportation from South Africa. Authorities say he has been living in the country illegally, having previously been denied entry.
The issue comes amid his legal troubles after a gardener was shot at his Johannesburg home. Mugabe claims the gardener shot himself and says he had fired him for alleged witchcraft.
His next court date is 3 March, and authorities are investigating both the shooting and his immigration status.
