Your math is rusted... mjomba was correct 17E+7W=24 but 17E to 7E is 10. Got it? You go from 17 E to zero the add 7 more to west......Bro according to my maths;
17E + 7W =10E ( You are at 17E and start walking westwards by 7 points, you arrive at 10E)
20W +7E = 13E
