Replace your wire cable and see the difference of signal increase
Dont know if its my setup but i cant enjoy most channells at night and early mornings.Setup 4950h,180cmpf,Stargold Fuji single for Nilesats and Twin for 7E. The Q drops to zero for Tp11747V and above for Nilesats and Tp10845v and above for 7E. During the day all have over Q78%.

The picture quality was very good and near-HD in quality. Audio was very clear and best of all, in English.
The new software for SRT 4922 ver. 183p dated 31-07-2015 opens HBO & CNN directly after loading it but you have
to manually enter the keys for all the other PV channels including SkyNews, SIS & NHK Premium.
For IS 20 at 68.5°E C-Band, I am using a 180cm PF segmented Eurostar dish with a cheap Chinese Panorama LNBF.

On my SRT 4922 with the new SW ver. 183p dated 31-07-2015, I have been able to open the following on IS 20 after inserting the necessary PV keys except for 3974 H (HBO/CNN) which opens directly without inserting the keys.
I upgraded from 178p which was opening only Sky News, SIS & NHK.
Please just follow the simple procedures as follows:
>> First track/scan and get the required PV channels on IS 20 and/or Apstar 7.
>> Upgrade your SRT 4922 with the new SW i.e. 183p
>> Go to one of the channels on the TP you wish to open.
>> Enter CAREFULLY the relevant keys, exit and save.
>> Sometimes the keys take a few minutes before opening the channel; do not panic, be patient skip to another unrelated channel and come back later to find the channel showing.
>> Each key opens the whole transponder and so there is no need to repeat each channel separately.
Here are the channels I am currently enjoying on IS 20.

Wah! So is it worth the upgrade if that's all the new SW offers, or does it have other technical advantages? Do you have a snapshot of the GUI? I like the current GUI on this stb. It looks sleek and quite attractive/appealing to the eye.Looks like they picked an old strong GUI and slapped it into the 4950H

My MBC TP's misbehave from 9:30pm to around 11pm sijui kama ni solar outage. 1.8pf cheap eurostar lnb, loc limuru
Do you remember SW patch version 3.15P for SRT 4950H that came out in March 2015?
It changed the old GUI to the new GUI (now old) which was sleeker and pleasing to the eye.
It also changed and simplified the entering of BISS keys by removing the SID requirement.
Is the new GUI in version 3.32P better looking?
I am not in a hurry to upgrade yet.

Definitely not solar outage, this only happens early in the morning and late in the evening and then, only in the months of March and September during the solar equinox (yes, those high school geography lessons count for something🙂). Check the integrity of your set-up.
