This is what he said..."if u have tried but not lucky ...., try this. there are different ways of killing a mouse. 1st. an rg 6 cable about 1 m. this cable will run from UA lnb to diseqc. but before connection - cut the 1 m cable 30 cm from the end. now it is time to join. look for a small piece of aluminium ( not sure ) This is for joining the inside wire. the outer one remain the same. I swear, u will not regret this. then make sure but wires do not get in contact . connect them now, try good luck"
The photos he attached also looked like the wire to join using this other small piece is the inner copper-like part of the RG6. I could be wrong. I want to try this experiment tomorrow.

Dish height 270cm
Dish width 240cm
Dish arms 200cm
Lnb arm 150cm
Initial lnb arm was 145cm minius lnb support holder
Lnb in use, Inverto ultra black quad lnb.
Dish tracked on Eutelsat 7 East A.
Using strong 4922HD receiver.
Weak frequencies on the bird 11617 V @71% signal strength while frequency 11637@69%
I want to change the lnb to Raven feed-horn with Inverto quad c120 flange black pro LNB ................

Just seen your post at Midnight (saturday).
Looking at the back of your dish, it is similar to the one that Dongra has. The difference is that your width is 240Cm while Dongra's is 250Cm. The Height is the same, 270Cm. And the 'Depth" of your dish?
Yesterday, Saturday 17-01-2014, at 3Pm - 9Pm, Dongra and I reworked the measurements and re-aligned the dish. Now all the 7 East TPs are streaming in at 78% quality or higher! Even the usual 'difficult' 11617-V-30000 (History, Nat-Geo and Music channels) is stable at 78% quality!

Are the inline amplifiers available locally in Kenya?Let's kill the mice🙂
There is still another way to do it with less mess which won't kill your receiver or switch....try employing a inline amplifier. It has proved to me more valuable when using the stargold Fuji for prime focus coz without it my discovery channels are not coming in despite using a 3m anntenae....it had my head scratching abit as other lnbs brought in all frequencies but with low signal strength of 67% as opposed to 75% on stargold Fuji with the line in amp attached

it does not matter if both cables are black, all works the same. colour does not add signal, only if they r of companies

Freddy, in your inline amp set up, are you using the diseq switch? If yes, what position is the switch in relation to the LNB/receiver? Bubba, in that set-up, please explain the path. How does the connection move from the LNB to the receiver/decoder?or just like this photo? coz it does work too. the amplifier u r talking about didn't work with me
