Thanks a lot brother Freddygaz!
To be honest with you,i have never tried to track the Sats you mentioned above before(except the Arabsat 5A @ 30.5° east one) and i don't think it's possible to nab these birds from a location where we're at! as you know, their coverage area ends at the Northern parts of Africa.in my opinion, even if "it's possible to get some good enough Signal from these Sats here in our region",i think we need to use a 3.5ms of a Satellite Antenna or BIG.. .GGER(which is costy and hard to find on the markets)!

Regarding the Arabsat 5A @ 30.5° east one(the Satellite which the JUICY ERITREA TV 2 is on),with a 1.8m. PF dish(if you're good at on the Fine-Tuning,even a 90cm Offset one is enough),it's one of the easiest birds to any Satellite Dish Installer,to pull her down, here in my location!

You guys need to give it a try,it worths spending a lill time and energy of yours'!!!

Did you checked the Signal status bar, incase if it's fluctuating up and down instantly,in an unussual way(like 70..65...55....40.....0%)? or you're "just receiving a stable Signal at 70%" ??

Do you mean "an 8ft Pf dish is not available in the Kenyan markets"?
how much does it cost you to import it from Tanzania?

Its on 7e eutelsat 7B the African beam. The strongest TP hosts MBCs 12604 H 30000 SR and
11356 H 45000 SR is the other. These are the only transponders Azam is on.
Do u mean those Tps are hard to Track? I tried last night with a 90cm dish n a Samson quad in Embakasi but nothing came up. How did u set your Azam or where am I going wrong? A picture will help pliz

lGuys, let me ask yu if it is possible to nab kenyan channels at intelsat 906, in a6ft dish, srt4922 I am at kajiado and the more I try the more despair

Hello satmate i received my bein sports decoder last week however out of the 19hd channels around six of them are not showing mostly those broadcasting spanish and italian league my dish is pointed to nilesat 7w however on reading in the manual they indicate that they broadcast on nilesat, badr and esha'hail(sp) i have a spare 90cm that i can spare to fully dedicate to this decoder my question is which among the 3sats has a strong footprint in nairobi so that i can point my 90cm on it to fully unlock the full potential of this decoder ie all the 19hd channels to be fully viewable or alternatively which tp do i need to maximise on my 130cm currently pointed to nilesat to fully bring the channels home?
Location; sunton kasarani

Morning too....there was a member in our earlier forums ....l think he used a 2.8M PF dish to get hotbird with 75% of the channels coming in...his location was Khatoum which is 6° above you.....hope thea is a sidelobe that extends into Ethiopia....
Arabsat 5A is a headache for us guys 10° south of you....investing in a 3M dish is the only option coz even Badr 26E we can't get the My HD channels unless you are close to the equator 🙂

Hello Guys, finally I can post something. I have been reading knowledge shared here and I can say it has been very helpful. Hope am welcome

Hello imei2012, I have mine at Mwiki using a 90cm and getting all of them on Nilesat. At Sunton you're better placed to get all the 19 channels with a little bit of tweaking than Mwiki which is down the valley.
