Pls shed some light on transmission mode.Is it mpeg-2 or mpeg-4? What size of dish are you using? is it KU or C- Band?Just tweaked my dish at Amos5 and voala!! Citezen tv, bbc, aljazeera, CCTV, NHK, VOA plus T channels. Signal quality 70!!! FTA for life.

Do these movies have unedited f, m, b and w words? Probably they are
straight from 50bob stands. Even KTN cannot afford recent movies, the
best they can do is Broken Arrow, Enemy of the state, Independence day and US Marshalls. NTV on the other hand
records movies from South Africas eTV. Citizen TV is even worse it still airs 1970s and 80s
Hong Kong action movies in the 21st century. If the 3 major broadcasters cannot afford such
recent content then someone tell Aviation TV, they will soon face a big and messy
lawsuit from hollywood. Where is CCK while this is happening, another culprit is Youth TV. With the digital signal making transmission easier, I bet these TV stations are being run from a bedroom somewhere in Eastlands
Somewhere in this very forum cannot remember where a member talked of an old model decoder technosat or technomate which one can use to search for satellites without a meter please assist

Does anyone know of any new software for SRT 4922 / 4950 to bring them back?

The decoder in question is a Technosat T-888 decoder. Check this article on how to use a Technosat T-888 PLUS ULTRA decoder as a satellite finder.

so with a dish placed at 36degE, please tell me how i can add an lnb to nab the Amos 5. is it possible am also seeing KTN listed on lyngsat.com at 11761v, can u confirm its presence also
